It's that time of year: lists, best of collections, and resolutions for the new year! Because let's be honest, 2015 will be upon us scarily soon. (Seriously, does anyone remember what even happened to most of October? Surely that was just weeks ago?)
For me, the last couple of weeks have gone by in a flurry of revisions and more revisions, and I love edits. LOVE them. But to feel most productive, I'm craving words too. After all, it's sometimes hard to keep track of progress when all you're doing is polishing words to a shine.
So I have a writing resolution!
Thanks to wonderful writing friends Cat Hellisen and Suzanne Young, I came across this: http://davidmacinnisgill.wordpress.com/2014/12/03/year-of-writing-the-end/ And while I'm a little intimidated, I want to give it a try. Here goes:
Starting 2015, I'll be tracking the words I write on a daily basis. (At the very least for my own personal use.) I'm honestly not sure how long I'll be able to keep up, but I'm hungry for those words. And I want to challenge myself to keep creating more.
What about you, Misfiteers? Do you have a writing resolution for 2015?
