Monday Pep Rally: Instabuy Settings

Since we've all gotten so used to getting our thoughts down in 140 characters - and it's fun to keep the conversation flowing - we've take the Pep Rally to twitter! Every Monday, we host a twitter chat and we'd love you to join in. Just keep an eye out for the #MisfitPepRally hashtag!

I don't know about other people, but I can be a pretty easy sell when it comes to books - all you have to do is have impressed me greatly in the past, and I'm yours! Okay, maybe that doesn't sound so easy, but this doesn't only apply to my instabuy authors - one thing I've realized as of late is that certain settings are totally instabuy for me too.

And I don't just mean the obvious "If this book is set in Paris or Rome, it's probably super fun and amazing," although those are pretty insta-buy for me too.

No, this realization was brought about by reading My Faire Lady by Laura Wettersten, and seeing what a sucker I am for books set in historical reenactment camps, of all places.

So, those are a few of my instabuy settings - what are yours?

Answer in the comments, or join the discussion on twitter - don't forget the hashtag, #MisfitPepRally!

I'm an easy sell when it come to books too. If it's set in England or Scotland I buy it. If it's set in a foreign country I will check it out. I love to travel but with how expensive it is can't, so I read books and movies to take me to places.
