Monday Pep Rally: Favorite Kind of Love Stories

If you'll recall, we've changed up our format a little bit for these posts. Because we've all gotten so used to getting our thoughts down in 140 characters, we're taking the discussion to twitter! Every Monday, we'll be talking about our Pep Rally question on twitter and we'd love you to join in. Just keep an eye out for the #MisfitPepRally hashtag!

As you probably know by now, us Misfits are big fans of love in all its many expressions.  I know one of the reasons I enjoy YA so much is the thrill of new love, heightened by the intensity of adolescence. After decades of reading, I never get tired of those first stirs of attraction, first kisses, the first time someone utters "I love you."

Fortunately, there are endless love stories and endless ways to fall in love, which brings me to my question:

What is your favorite kind of love story? Are you a sucker for best-friends-growing-into-more or does your heart flutter over love-at-first-sight? Do you like couples who argue and make up, finding passion in conflict, or do you prefer the kind of steady, quiet love grounded in understanding? Maybe you're one of those masochistic types who loves a good tragedy or forbidden love. Whatever kind of story makes your heart beat a little faster and the butterflies in your stomach dance, tell us about it!
