If you'll recall, we've changed up our format a little bit for these posts. Because we've all gotten so used to getting our thoughts down in 140 characters, we're taking the discussion to twitter! Every Monday, we'll be talking about our Pep Rally question on twitter and we'd love you to join in. Just keep an eye out for the #MisfitPepRally hashtag!
So. Right now, as you read this, I am at the beach. (Haters to the left, please.)
One of my favorite parts about beach vacations (and any vacation, as well as any nonvacation, any morning, any afternoon, basically any time I have a chance to sit down) is deciding what book(s) I'm going to read.
This time, I'm taking lots of books with me. I'm FINALLY going to read Eleanor & Park, plus The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight, The Secret of Ella and Micha, and Twenty Boy Summer. (Plus a few things hanging out on my kindle, like RECLAIMED. THAT'S RIGHT I HAVE RECLAIMED WOOHOOO PUBLISHING SISTER PERKS!)
Yes, I know the chances of actually reading five books while I'm on vacation are pretty slim, especially since other people will probably expect me to like, I don't know, interact with them or something. But I'm excited. After eight months of revising, my TBR pile is pretty ridiculous, and it's hard for me to pick just one or two to read first!
What about you? What books on your To Be Read list are screaming most loudly for your attention these days?
