Band Geek Thursday: Chessie's Playlist For ASK AGAIN LATER, a.k.a. The Book With The Constantly Changing Title

Seriously though, it's getting a little ridiculous.

For my playlist this wonderful Thursday, I've drawn you a picture of my main characters, Alex and Miles. I would've taken the old title out of it but I am TOO LAZY. Also I really liked that title. And I don't really know what's happening with it right now. So we're gonna leave it there.

I love listening to music while I'm writing. In fact, there's rarely a time when I'm doing one and not the other. Music makes me want to write, and writing needs background noise. The Book Of Undetermined Title has lots of songs, not all of which I could put on this playlist because they're not on Grooveshark. -_- (Most notably: Inside Out and Promise by Eve 6. And I really freaking like those songs.)

Flagpole Sitta : Harvey Danger :: I love this song because it's so 90's. I'm a nostalgia junkie, and this song (along with other 90's classics like All Star by Smashmouth) are some of my Listen To Anywhere, Anytime songs. It doesn't hurt that parts of it make me giggle when I think of it and this book together. (PARANOIA, PARANOIA, anyone?)

Guten Tag : Wir Sind Helden :: Don't be alarmed! The sound you are hearing is called German. It's a different language. Miles is very German, so there's a bit of it on this playlist. Guten Tag is one of my favorites because I feel like it fits both characters so well.

Twisted Logic : Coldplay :: Well. Come on. It's Coldplay. (Also I am ashamed it took me so long to discover this song.)

Clint Eastwood : Gorillaz :: I love this song so much because A.) it's also about crazy people, B.) it's creepy, and C.) it's so different from the rest of the playlist just like scary schizophrenic hallucinations are so different from non-scary schizophrenic hallucinations.

Those are the four main ones. (As evidenced by the picture above.) Anyways, here's the playlist for The Book That Shall Not Be Titled.

Enjoy!

Everybody's coming to get me! And I'm so hot, because I'm in hell. That's stuck in my head for the rest of the day now. Oh, but then I started listening to Clint Eastwood, so it's all okay again.
